Withdrawal of limitation in the use of VENDLET

The upgrade of VENDLET is proceeding as planned

VENDLET is back in use

In November 2006 the Ministry of the Interior and Health in Denmark annulled the order from the Danish Medicines Agency of 14 June to remove the VENDLET system from use on the grounds that the advantages for the many patients compensate for the risk.

At the same time, the Ministry of the Interior and Health in Denmark orders H.C. Equipment to inform all owners of VENDLET, that it is associated with a risk to use the product and that the owner therefore is to stop use of the system or to establish a procedure which ensures that the plug is pulled out after end of use if the owner wishes to use the system until the safety upgrade has taken place.
