The upgrade of VENDLET is proceeding as planned

Several incidents due to incorrect mounting have emphasized the need for side rails on the bars. Therefore, the purchase of plastic side rails is compulsory in connection with the upgrade. On old systems this may include the purchase of adjustable bottom fittings and supports for side rails.
With regard to VENDLET HC-2 systems supplied before 2003 the upgrade includes mounting of safety locks in the fittings to avoid that the patient kicks down the bars unintentionally.
After the upgrade there is no risk connected to the use of VENDLET provided that all instructions regarding mounting, use and periodic safety checks are followed.
All product improvements are integrated in the new model VENDLET systems.

Control units invoiced by us before 14 June 2004 will be replaced free of charge. We also supply components for the transformer and check the hand control.
Control units, etc. not covered by the guarantee, will be updated at a reduced price excl. transport and wages.
