Withdrawal of limitation in the use of VENDLET
On 22 November 2006 the Danish Medicines Agency informed that users using VENDLET turning sheets could choose either not to use VENDLET turning sheets until the manufacturer had carried out a safety update, or to introduce a safety procedure which guarantees that the plug from the power supply is pulled out immediately after the VENDLET turning sheets have been used.
On 21 August 2008 the Danish Medicines Agency was informed that the manufacturer HC Equipment ApS has carried out a safety update on all the systems, which are accessible to them. Provided that HC Equipment ApS in future immediately carries out a safety update on old systems upon request from customers, the above limitation is hereby withdrawn.
